Here's a link to Tripadvisor's list and reviews from past guests. It also estimates prices for the hotels. Uzes is great.

Hi Molly,
Check out this website www.logis-de-france.fr/uk/index.htm. We have travelled independently twice to France for 2 to 3 weeks at a time and use them all the time - in fact their location gives us a direction to travel. Our cheapest was 33 euro up to 95 euro. All included breakfast, some parking and very personal service from owner operators.

Excellent suggestion, Lesley! I forgot to suggest Logis. The best network of small, family-run hotels I know. They have a website that frequently links to their member hotels so you can get a good idea of what's available. I have never had a bad experience in a Logis member hotel.

I always check ''Gites de France'' for either ''chambre d'hôtes'(that's B&Bs) or a gîte rural (villa to rent). I've been dealing with Gites de France for about 10-12 years now and have never been disappointed. Logis de France is a good one too.
