I am looking for lodging options for San Sebastian. I don't have the ETBD Spain book yet. One email attempt I made for a place I gleaned from Traveler's Helpline, never got a response regarding accomodation availability. Going May 21-28

I booked a room with the Silken Hotel Amara for mid May. You might take a look and check them out on Tripadvisor.com as well.

Another option is Hostal Alemana, a very short block from the beach and about a 15 minute walk from the train station. VERY nice inside, and reasonable rates. Click here for their website.

We spent four nights here last summer and had a double room with a private bath for 69 euros/night.

The pensione is on one of the main streets and is a short walk to the beach and the old town. You can walk there from either the bus or train station in about 15 minutes.
