Can you recommend a place to stay while we are visiting the Normandy coast and the D-Day beaches? Thank you

We really enjoyed Bayeux and staying at Hotel d'Argouges. The staff are absolutely wonderful, the rooms are lovely, the back garden is delightful (especially with apperatifs!) and the breakfasts are fabulous! Loved the markets too!
A second vote for Hotel D'Argouges. We've stayed there many times and love it!
The Lion D'Or is another good choice. On your travels, do not miss the D Day Museum in Caen.
you want to stay ini bayeux. if you drive to bayeux you can just stay with any family run places. there are many familes rent their rooms very cheap compare to hostels. i stayed at this place a few years ago - nice little french house, first one on your right if you drive in town, it's across street from the church. the madam rents room upstairs with bathroom pretty cheap. i was there in may with no reservation.
We have reservation at Le Castel Noble Guesthouse in Bayeaux. Their website is: http://www.castelbayeux.com/gallery.htm We plan on driving from Paris, staying in Bayeaux and visiting the Normandy Coast and D-Day beaches in early June.

We did not like the Caen WWII museum at all - the one in Bayeux is much better.
We really liked the Churchill Hotel in Bayeux.
staying in a guesthouse is definitely the best accommodation, they'll be a precious source of information and welcome you very kindly. I recommend you Le Petit Matin the hosts are a delight !
