any one know of a good place to stay in Zurich - close to the train station would be good as we have an early train the following day. So far it looks pretty expensive in Zurich. Are there any places under $200?

It's always nice to stay at the hotels right next to the airport and just take the shuttle in the morning. They are a bit pricey however. We stayed at the airport Hilton but we did this on our points.
One good suggestion is to find a hotel a short distance away but near a train station. There are numerous hotels that fit this description. In the morning, jump on the train for a 15 minute or so ride to the Zurich Flughafen (airport stop). The airport train stop is beneath the airport terminal so you just elevator up to the check-in counters.

thank you I will check out the Pension St Josef and I found one called the Montana Hotel (or something like that) both close to the train station.
