Can anyone recommend an inexpensive hotel in Geneva, preferably near the airport? I need to crash after 15 hours of travel before boarding a train the next day. Thanks!

We stayed at the City Hostel Geneva (http://www.cityhostel.ch/english/index.html). It is a short and easy FREE train ride from the airport. It was the only city we visited where we stayed at a hostel rather than a hotel, but it was nice and affordable. Geneva hotels were expensive! Getting back to the train station is an easy walk with luggage.

Not sure this will help. Everyone is looking for an affordable hotel in Geneva, not sure there is one. IF you HAVE to stay, consider Hotel Warwick, it is right across from Train station, pricy but convenient. Within walking distance to touristy sites as well.
