We are looking for a place to stay near the Brussels airport for two days. We need parking and easy access to the train station so we can visit Brussels.

Well, like most airports, there's a cluster of chain hotels in Zaventem just by the airport... but unless you have business at nearby NATO HQ, or one of the multinationals in Zaventem's business districts, I can think few more dull places to stay in Belgium. May I ask, why not just stay in Brussels?

I do not like to drive in large cities. I would like a quiet neighborhood that will be easy to drive to . We are drivign from Rothenberg. Ideally anice small b and b or small hotel in a residential section with parking that is easy to get to without having to drive through the central city

I know the area well, and I'm trying to think of something that fits your description... and I'm coming up blank. You might consider staying in nearby Leuven. Although driving here isn't any easier than in Brussels, you could park your car in the garage under the main train station, which sits directly on the main ring road. You would probably have to walk to your hotel, however. At least, it's a fairly small city, easily managed on foot or bus.

Near Nato is an overpriced Courtyard by Marriott which sometimes has parking included. Have you driven in Brussels? Its not for the faint hearted. Why not ditch the car and stay in Brussels if you are visiting Brussels?
