I need to stash a suitcase for the day in Paris as I sightsee between connections. Preferably somewhere near Gare du Nord, but other major tourist center is OK (e.g., Louvre).

There are left luggage facilities and lockers at the Gare du Nord and the Gare de l'Est, which is very close by.

Again, great question. I will also need a place to store my luggage because we check out of our hotel at 10am but our train to Münich doesn't leave until 3:30pm. So we hope to check out early and do some more sight seeing before we leave.

Laura, most hotels are happy to hold the bags of guests for a few hours. This works either if you arrive early, or have checked out but won't be leaving town until later in the day.

And what if you're not in a hotel but have a day at the airport?? Is there somewhere at the airport to use?
