I am heading to Paris for my first visit at the end of October and early November and was wondering if there were places one could go to join in a pick-up soccer game and when and where that might most likely be done.
Also, interested in acquiring tickets to pro soccer, so if you have any info on that, I would also appreciate it (although I expect that is easy to find on the web. I just haven't looked).
The main team in Paris (PSG) has a large fan store on the Champs Elysse-can't miss it. You should be able to purchase tickets there.

This is by no means a foolproof tip, but there's a soccer field near the Eiffel Tower that does host rec league games. A friend of mine played there with a bunch of students from the American University in Paris while he was on exchange in Paris. I don't know much about the leagues or if the fields are open for general recreation, but that might be a place to start -- and it's in the city center, so at least you wouldn't go too far out of your way to find out!
