photographer in France

We are going to Normandy, Brittany and Paris in April. We were thinking it might be nice to get a professional photographer to take a few family pic's to commerate our trip.....any suggestions?

Denise, Do you want a photographer for each of the locations you're visiting? Your best bet would likely be to ask the staff at each of your hotels, as they'll likely have some information on local photographers. The services likely won't be cheap though. THIS photographer is the only one I know of in Paris. He speaks very limited English and I'm not sure if he does portraits. Good luck and happy travels!

You might try contacting the Professional Photographers of California or America. If they have a facebook page you might be able to post your request and get a photographer from the US who is traveling the same time you are and might be willing to meet up with you for some portraits. If I were going to be there at that time I would do it... I have done a number of portraits in Europe for US clients who were traveling overseas ( I am a professional photographer)...(as Ken said however..not inexpensive... especially if you want a quality portrait) Good luck.
