My husband and I need accommodations for one night in Perpignan. We be driving from the Dordogne to Perpignan where we will turn on our rental car and then catch the train to Barcelona. Any suggestions? Anything we should not miss in Perpignan?

Basque food. It remains an enclave of descendants of refugees of the Spanish Civil War. Look for restaurants with names tha look neither Spanish nor Frence. There's a couple within a block of the main square.
