Hi gang, Going to be in Berlin in mid May. The board has been so helpful in helping me plan. I am wondering whether you suggest buying tickets online for these 2 museums (I know they require a timed admission) or if it is just as easy to get them at the Island and kill time at the other museums prior to the appointed admission. Also, if I purchase one of the Museum Passes does it make any difference? Not clear to me how all of these interact. As the trip gets nearer, I'm trying to figure out how much to pre-plan versus spontaneity. We arrive in Berlin on a Saturday evening, leave on a Thusrday, so have Sunday - Wednesday for daytime sight-seeing type activities. I was thinking of going to Museum Island on Tuesday. We have Reichstag reservatons for Monday morning, and I'm guessing it would be overkill to try and squeeze all of this in one day. Thinking that it would be nice to start off Sunday with one of the walking tours to get good city overview. Insider Tours seems to be well regarded. I'd like to go to Potsdam, but since it sounds like an all-day adventure, wondering if I'm trying to squeeze too much in. (My travelling companion likes to shop so I have to factor his interests in too!)
