Perfect Hostel

Anyone have experience with Perfect hostel in Paris?
It says it is located in the Montmartre district, I checked the map and it doesn't look like it is too far, esp with the metros to the main part of town, does that seem right?

I stayed in an apartment a few years ago on rue Condorcet, which intersects Rodier. It's a good part of town (take care in Metro Anvers) with lots of artsy types, good little restaurants and a nice little park at Square Trudaine. Apparently many Paris media people live in the area, but since I don't know any Paris media people I can't confirm.

Another way to go in a big city like Paris is bidding on Priceline. According to Biddingfortravel.com, people are getting high season, luxurious rooms in well located 4 star Paris hotels for less than/close to the same as the 70 EUR a private room in the Perfect (??? looks far from perfect, but I haven't stayed there)Hostel. I haven't used Priceline for Paris, but it worked great for Amsterdam, Cologne, Brussels and Berlin.

hi again Chantielle. Didn't stay there, but I think it's kinda near the red light district. However, most of the Tripadvisor reviews say it's ok. It's certainly near the Eurostar station - Gare du Nord so it'll be convenient. In Paris I stayed at the Hotel Sevigne in the Marais district, just steps from the St Paul station and very near the main sights, 80+ euro a night for a double.
