Veronik, Rick's Paris 2011 book is available through the Travel Store tab at the top of this page....Admittedly you'll be paying US$18.95 for shipping rather than US$6 but it is available and certainly worth it for a trip that will cost a few thousands!
Are you looking for a room for a long-term stay? And when are you needing it?

Plan to be in Paris June 25-30. A book to Mexico will take several months and by that time I will have left/started on my trip (April 18). So I was hoping to hear from someone who had found pensions or rooms to let.

hotel-leveque.com hoteljeannedarc.com mije.com The last site is for the youth hostels. I have never stayed but our daughter has several times. I mention the first 2 hotels for comparison.
It's really a shame you can't get Rick's Paris book in time but couldn't you have it in time to take with you to help you determine what you want to see, the best times and the least expensive ways to see them?
