Hi, Really need an opinion on Pension Seibel in Munich. I have seen good recommendations in the past on this forum, but also some really bad ones. Looking for a (relatively) inexpensive hotel in Old Town Munichy (100 euros or so) and having trouble -- many are filled for the August 9-10th time frame. TripAdvisor comments range wildly too. Has anyone been to Pension Seibel recently? Help! Thanks much,

This is a good site with a number of apartments close to the train station http://www.homeaway.ca/cottage-rental/p511999 Good value especially for high priced Munich

I stayed there several years ago. It was clean, but pretty basic. Good value for that location, though.

Stayed there in 2010. We had a family suite on the top floor. It was very tight quarters, a little rundown, and hot as blazes. But it was 2 bedrooms, had a small fridge, and very close to the center of town. Breakfast was ok. I think I'd look for something else next time but it wasn't terrible.
