I have emailed Pension Lettie in Bacharach, but am wondering if she is open and taking reservations for next summer? Has anyone contacted her lately? Rick?

Lettie owns a house here in Las Vegas where I live. She might be here for the winter, although she has been talking for several years about moving here permanently. I have been thinking about dropping by her house. If I do, and she is no longer running the pension, I will let you know.

We reserved a room from Lettie for this summer a few weeks ago (e-mail from her dated Jan 7, 2008). She replied quickly to my e-mail. Perhaps she is on holiday as this is probably a pretty slow time for that area.
Another possibility.... I've run into a bit of a problem with some places not replying (or so I thought). I thought a few of the places I've contacted weren't answering, but then I tried using a different e-mail address I have, and got a quick reply. One place replied that Comcast had been blocking their replies to me and they had to use a hotmail account to contact me. This was the same as I've tried a few times for places in Cochem and no replies. Tried my other e-mail address and got 2 quick replies.

We stayed with her in Aug 2007 & she is closed usually during winter . She is incredibly efficient so I would expect she will respond soon. It is worth the wait.

I also stayed with Lettie in July 2007 and she responded quickly to our request.
Lettie could not be nicer and her place is a very nice, simple place to stay

I made reservations with her for this May sometime in early January. She was very quick with her response.
