Paying a deposit in France

I have booked a b and b in France, and they are asking for a deposit. What is the least expensive way to send this? They do not take credit cards. Thanks

Xoom.com will let you send up to $2,999 to France for only $4.99. Go to their website to see how it works. Haven't used it yet myself; read about it in a newspaper travel section.

I have gone to Europe every summer for over 10 years now and frequently stay at B&Bs which I prefer. In making reservations from the US I tell the "owner" that I will give them a credit card to hold the reservation and pay cash when I arrive. If they will not accept that, I always look elsewhere.
