I am planning to go to Oberammergau, the place I looked seems to be pricy, around 1848 euros for 7 nights, for 2 people including breakfast, lunch & dinner on the day of the Passion Play. I really want to attend even if I cannot see the play, but feel the atmosphere or see it behind the scenes, I have intentions to go since 2001 as I watched a travel show & I wanted to go, since I am not retired & I will be able to book my holidays until late April, do you think it might be better to stay in \Garmisch & once there find out what is available to see the play or if there is another options as it looks that most hotels there only have set prices. I would appreciate any assistance.
