We are going to Spain in the fall, this question came up is there secure paid parking in Tariffa around the Port area and does anyone by any change maybe know how much that would be. I was also told there was parking by the Police station?

yes there is parking at the port next to where the ferries leave. Part of the parking is behind a fence, but part of the lots are accessible by anyone walking into the lot. My wife and I walked through this lot to get a bit closer to the ocean there in December 2006.

Parked at this lot during my trip there, had no troubles. Left nothing in sight inside the car though, all belongings were left in the trunk. Wandered around the around waiting for the ferry - it seems very safe, and there is a ruined castle within walking distance.
