Parking in Carceres, Spain

Hi. We're planning a quick trip to the Extramadura region in Spain. We'll spend 1 night at the Parador of Caceres. Sounds like driving and parking within the city will be difficult. The Parador also has very limited parking space. Does anyone know of parking lots close to the city where we can park the car overningt? Thanks Patricia

Big parking garage two blocks northwest of Plaza Mayor. The little one behind the parador only holds six or eight cars.
