Parking at Parc Asterix

My 12 year old grandkids want to go to Parc Asterix on our trip with them in June. We are planning to visit the park after we pick up our van at CDG. We'll have all our luggage as we will be on our way to Verdun for the night. My question is about parking. Any ideas on how safe their parking lot is? With six of us and all our stuff it will be pretty impossible to cover all the luggage. I have a couple of cable locks to hook the suitcases all together, but an concerned about possible break-ins. Thanks for the advice!

It seems that people tend to avoid paying 7€ by parking free of charge at the "3 hiboux hotel" and then take a free bus to the park. It might be safer for your car also...
good luck and have fun!

Hopefully you'll find Parc Asterix a nice contrast to the Disney worlds (nothing wrong with those either).

We never had problem with the parking at Asterix, with year's worth of taking the kids and friends there. It's a very family friendly place, evenn if you're not familiar with the Asterix characters. How did your grandkids hear of it? This is the park's 20th birthday.

Thanks Regina! I read about the park and told the kids. I also got them several Asterix and Obelix comic books (English translation). I know lots is lost in the translation as far as the great plays on words, but they're still really fun and the kids loved them. So we're looking forward to visiting the park. Do you have any suggestions as far as what would be the best things to see? None of us speak French other than just the few polite greetings, etc. I understand everything is in French and that's part of the charm, although if you have any suggestions they will be much appreciated. Also how much time do you think we should allow for our visit there? Will probably arrive about 11:00 a.m. (Pick up our car at 10:00 a.m.) Thanks for your help!
