I don't know how to include this info without making it sound like i'm selling something, but i recently read an article in le Parisien about people young and old being able to afford a vist to the capital via www.holidayflat.fr ministudios with kitchenette for 22 euros a night, sheets and towels extra. Sorry for giving advice without having actually tested it, but it's easier for me to sleep at home.
