Paris with a toddler

Hi, All:

we are going to Paris for just over a week with our 2 year old daughter.

Please suggest kid-friendly places/activities in central Paris.

Thanks!

The fountain and pool with all the whirling water gizmos at the Pompidou Center.

The carousel at the northwest corner of the Tuileries.

In the 16th in the Parc du Ranleigh we saw small children riding donkeys and I am sure there must be donkeys or ponies in other parks as well.

I live far from Paris.

Btw, in my experience, well-travelled North Americans know more than the locals.

Luxembourg Gardens has a great children's playground, pony rides, and there are usually childen sailing little boats in the pond.

Linda beat me to it...the Luxembourg Gardens for sure. You and your daughter will love it there.

In addition to what Linda said, they have marionette shows and a carousel.

Elena, there's also the Jardin d'Acclimation in the Bois de Boulogne. It's wonderful!

There are carousels almost everywhere you look and also numerous small playgrounds. You just never real notice them until you're there with a kid.

I love carousels. We are going on the one in Monmartre whether she likes it or not!

Thanks all!
