Has anyone done this walk? If so, what did you think? Thanks for your thoughts.
I have seen posts praising it, and I have high hopes. I'm already booked for October!
I loved it. The guide was very charming and very interesting. It's not ALL about chocolate, though plenty for even the most diehard chocoholic (moi). We had 4 exquisite tastings and were quite glad that the last one was wrapped so we could save it for later. We didn't really have time to make purchases at the shops, but you can take their cards and return on your own. France is all about dark chocolate. For milk chocolate, go to Switzerland. There is also a section on the Graffiti Wall for chocolate lovers, with more postings about this tour.
Hi Rosemary,
I haven't done the chocolate walk but, October's "Food and Wine Magazine" has a list of chocolate shops in Paris (p. 189.) I plan to take it and map out my own chocolate route. In addition, they list the best restaurants (p. 184), wine bars (p. 186), and patisseries (p. 187!) It's a fun issue with lots of good info about France!
