We'll be staying in the Disneyland area and a daily trip on RER is 8 euros each way. According from what I read about Paris Visite wold save us money. Has anyone commuted from Disneyland and did you use the Paris Viste Pass?
I've never used the pass, but it seems to be a long ride. You can look at the map, it's online.
The train from Paris is 30 - 40 minutes.
The Visite Pass will work if you purchase for zone 6.

You would do much better buying daily Mobilis passes for zones 1-5 for only 12.50€.
The Paris Visite Pass for zones 1-6 is 18€ for one day, 27.50€ for two days, 38.50€ for three days, and 47€ for five days.
Merci! I'm going with the Paris Viste pass as we can also use it on our trip to & from CDG. 8 days with passes is $85.50 and 8 days with daily passes adds up to $100. There are four of us so maybe we can a dessert with our savings. Thanks to each of you for responding.
Eight days? Then what you want is a Carte Orange. It's a weekly pass that is good Monday-Sunday (not any seven-day period). A zone 1-5 pass costs 32.10€. You load it on a passe Navigo Decouverte card (one-time fee of 5€) and you need to provide a headshot photo, slightly smaller than passport-sized.
It is sold through Wednesday for use in the current week and can be a good deal even if used for less than seven days.
If you arrive in Paris on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, or Sunday, buy Mobilis passes for use between then and Monday.
