PARIS VISIT - entertainment guide

I am going to be in Paris for the first week in April. My friend is running the marathon and afterwards we are planning on going to the opera or any concert that might be taking place that week. Any recommended website where we could look up a schedule or where I would be able to buy tickets in advance?

Hi Maura,

My wife and I are also visiting Paris for 6 nights at the beginning of Paris. Have you been that time of year? I am guessing there will be a chance of rain with temps around 55 degrees.

I'd check out the organ at St. Sulpice church. I believe it's free and quite amazing. Also, St. Chapelle has classical concerts occasionally.

Have fun!

I have been in Paris in March and during the Summer. I have a suspicion it will a little bit cold. Nothing compared to our current weather in Austin!! - It is supposed to in the higher 80's today.

I have been in the St. Chapelle for a concert and I highly recommend it as well. I cannot remember the website though where I got the tickets through.

Thanks for the suggestions!!! :)

Also, pick up a copy of the free local entertainment guide as soon as you arrive. The "Pariscope" is available at any Tabac.
