Paris VE Day Parade

We will be in Paris May 8 and would like toknow what time the big parade down the Champs occurs and when the wreath is laid on the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at the Arc d' Triumph. We must leave later that day, May 8 and need to book Eurostar tickets for later in the day.

This is more an "i don't know" rather than an answer..the only parades i've ever seen in Paris were for the 14th Juillet...Sometimes there's a small one for 11th Novembre..but i don't recall anything big for 8th Mai..Yes, it's a holiday, but i didn't notice a parade.
