Which company do you recommend for a one-day Paris tour with guide which would include the most popular sites?
I saw "Paris Pass" as am option. What level of information do they provide?

Paris Pass is not a tour, and they provide no information at all. It's just a very expensive pass that covers admissions and transit in Paris. It's very hard to make it pay off, as there are only 24 hours in a day (they'll tell you it covers 60 attractions, but so what? You can't see anywhere near that number). So, if you want a guided tour, it's not for you, and if you want to do it yourself, there are much better deals. If you want a tour and prefer to have someone else do the guiding for you, look at a company like Paris City Vision: http://www.pariscityvision.com/.
