Hello, I think I am doing something wrong... I have tried a couple of different timetable sites and they only show a train from Paris to Vernon during the 6 am hour and then more starting around 4 in the afternoon. I know I was able to get there, using the train plus bus option about 10 years ago, and I feel like it was only possible certain days of the week, or only one or two outward bound trains in the morning, but I am sure it was not this early... or was it? Thanks for your help- Amy
www.tgv-europe.com is run by the SNCF, the French train system, and shows trains ex St-Lazare every two hours during the middle of the day. The well-known trick is to specify a country other than the United States so you don't get bumped to RailEurope. There is a shuttle bus from Vernon. It's seven kilometres.
The park is open from the end of March to the start of November. Tickets are available on-line. http://giverny.org/transpor/
