Paris to Sarlat by Train

We are going from Paris to Sarlat in September. We change in Libourne and have 8 minutes to catch
the train to Sarlat. Can we make this second train?

Maybe. But I would have a back up plan to rent a car. In fact if you plan on visiting the Sarlat area a car will make it much easier.
