Paris to Prague to Berlin (in any order) - by train ?

Hi travellers!
My wife and I wish to see Berlin, Prague and interesting things along the way. We'd be coming from Paris - but don't necessarily have to start there. Just looking for an interesting itinerary - really like art, language, literature, history and culture.

We wondered about day train trips and stops along the way from Paris to Berlin to Prague - wondered what path and what method (train or air) We have 20 days.

Sincerely,
Barry et Candi

I am not sure what the best stops between Paris and Berlin are, but I would recommend Dresden as a stop between Berlin and Prague. Dresden is a very nice city, the old centre has been restored since WWII, and there are steam boats there that make it easy to explore some neighbouring areas along the Elbe river. I also remember seeing from the train that the areas around the German-Czech border the so called "Saxon Switzerland" looked very nice. Unfortunately I did not get time to explore that area.

I'd say your must-sees between Berlin and Prague are Dresden and a day trip into Swiss Saxony and another day trip to Görlitz. On the Prague-Paris leg visit Nuremberg from there the train route splits: You can go via Frankfurt and visit Würzburg and all her sights as well as the Rhine river gorge/middle Rhine valley OR go via Munich (plenty of world-class museums; day trip to Neuschwanstein), Stuttgart (Porsche, Mercedes-Benz museum among others) and Baden-Baden (Black Forrest)...
