Paris to Brugge

What is the best way (cheapest and quickest) to get from Paris on a Monday morning to Brugge. The Thalys train does not run this route on Monday mornings. Is there a better way than to take the Thalys to Brussels and then a commuter train to Brugge?
Thanks!

I was in Brugge last week! Take the express from Paris to Lille and a local from there to Brugge.

Thanks!
Is the Express the Eurostar? Should I make a reservation for that train?

Cheapest or quickest? Those usually aren't the same thing. Quickest would be Thalys to Brussels and then NMBS (Belgian rail) to Brugge. Two or more trains leave per hour from Brussels to Brugge.

True, cheapest and fastest do not necessarily always go hand-in-hand. I guess I meant to say, a combination of the both- best bang for my buck I forgot to buy the advance Thalys tickets, and now it will cost 90E for two people from Paris to Brussels and then the cost for the commuter train to Brugge. The TGV from Paris to Lille is 40E for both of us plus the cost of the train from Lille to Brugge.
It seems like it will only take a little longer to go via Lille. Thanks!
