Paris this Christmas with Infant

My husband and I will be going to Paris this Christmas/New Year's with a 9 mth old infant. We've been there many times in Spring/Summer, but never in the winter or during x'mas holidays or with child. Does anyone have any tips on places to visit that are both baby-friendly and things that are great to do during the holidays -- as we've done the usual summer sites/walks already.

My only piece of advice, having done this with a 6-7 month old AND a 3 yr old is to share what we did wrong
1) We should have brought formula he was used to or continued b-feeding....
2) We should have planned for shorter-colder days and rain (we are from Fl) and misread the weather...

what we did right...a baby backpack is a must...if not an umbrella stroller...we had both to manage...

You can get a manual food mill to mush up table food if your child is ready for it--ours was too young...

3) Do what you want- we did-- We did self catering with the boys being 7 mos and 3 yrs...
Your child goes along and is a great carrying age...even in resturants for meals...!!

looking back and being honest...

Our big downfall was the weather and especially the night time cold...and a change in diet...If I had to go back and do it--I would have continued breast feeding and let him sleep with me (ONLY for the trip) to be warmer at night.

Have a great time!!
