Any shared information on this tour will be greatly appreciated.
I went on that tour several years ago (in fact, that's my son and me with our tour guide in the NY Times article link on the Press page). It was WONDERFUL. Highly, highly recommended. We went on the night tour, and when we come back this summer, will go on the day tour.
Just note that while it "takes" you to various places, such as the Louvre, you do not actually get off and go inside any of the museums. Think of this as a way to get a visual map of Paris, so that you know where museums and other attractions are when you want to come back and spend some time in them.
It was fun, supremely easy to use (we had two teens and two adults in our party), and a wonderful way to get an overview of Paris, instead of just using he metro to pop up and see little unconnected bits.
We've only taken the Segway tour here in our hometown of Chicago, but we loved it. My wife and I agreed that we'll want to do a Segway tour in other cities as well.
I took it with my partner in 2003 and we loved it! It is an American company who hires Americans, so everyone speaks English and can give you great tips, like good restaurants where the folks speak some English and such. (Just handy for those of us whose French is very rusty.) Also, they had computers with internet access and the ability to make CDs from our digital camera photos. (Both for a fee, but handy since we were already there.) Riding the Segway was so fun and surprisingly easy to navigate on Paris streets. I can't recommend it enough.
This sounds fun! For anyone who has done this before, do you recommend the day or night tour? I'm afraid I'll be more likely to fall off the segway at night :)
