I need a casual restaurant recommendation for 5 people very near the Ritz. No, we're not staying here...I wish...my son will be taking a cooking class here for his 18th birthday present that day from 7-9pm and I thought it would be good to eat nearby while he's doing this. I want it to be close by so one of us can go to get him if we're not done eating yet and get back quickly (not sure what I'll do for his dinner- wonder if he can get something late?). It looks like we'll be getting off the Metro at Tuileries or Opera, not sure which is closer. I'm looking for a place where the Menu is less than about 30 Euros.

Le Nemours near the Palais Royale metro is a nice cafe -- I've eaten there a couple of times and it's recommended by Rick. Not sure how close it is to the Ritz though.

BG- Thanks! I just searched your recommendation and although it's too far for this night, it sounds perfect for lunch the day we're touring the Louvre! We'll add it to our itinerary, thanks.
