Paris rental in Rueil-Malmaison for a week

I will be in Paris the 2nd week of June w/my 18 & 17 year old son & daughter, visiting a family that lives in Rueil-Malmaison. I'd like to find basic lodging near them for a week (2-3 beds). I don't think we will be cooking or spending much time there, just need it for sleep. I looked on tripadvisor and saw some hotels, but not much other in the way of lodging. I can have our friends in Paris investigate there or us, if you have suggestions on where to look.
Also, if you have suggestions on food or sightseeing, I appreciate input. I was in Paris a couple years ago and my daughter was there last summer. My daughter is looking forward to the bread and pan au chocolat. My 6'5" son needs lots of protein!
We will probably sightsee on our own during the day and visit w/the family at night.
