Having difficulty finding a place to stay in Paris that has 1 queen bed AND 1 twin/double bed for a decent rate
We had a triple at Hotel Levesque on Rue Cler. Some people here claim that Rue Cler is touristy but when we ere there (February a few years ago) it was great. Can't say I saw many other tourists and the location was perfect for us.
Try an apartment, they are cheaper and more interesting than hotels. Look at the vacation lodgis website or www.parisattitude.com. Both in English, or www.holidayrentals.co.uk.
I have an apartment for 2 for Eur 850 a fortnight.
Ditto the apartment. I rented one through vrbo.com.
Hotel Eugenie.
I saw one of their triples( I asked to see some rooms to see what they were like,, desk clerk showed me three rooms)
Locations is VERY central,, far more in the middle of everything then Rue Cler,, but also to be fair could be noisey. The rooms I saw all faced an inner courtyard and seemed quiet though,, so perhaps specify you do not want a street view room.
Rooms were all clean, had safes, nice enough bathrooms, a/c , tvs. and the triple I saw was nice as the single was not right on top of the other bed,( which btw they can be). I cannot recall if it was a double or queen sized bed though. It seems hard to find queen size beds in my budget range.
Hotel Minerve in the Latin quarter had very nice triples-I would pay for the room upgrade, as it was so much larger and more like a suite. As I recall, in April it was less than $200 US
Prices are jumping all over the place. Maybe defining "decent rate" would help.
If all three will sleep in same room, then look at Hotelformule1 (bath/toilet down the hall) for around 48 Euro per night on Rue Dr. Babinski. Beside HF1 is an Etap, in-suite for about 60 Euro. Both have bunk beds, queen on bottom and twin on top. Booked early, they can be a bit cheaper.
