we have an overnight layover in Paris in a few weeks. any recs on decent housing with a reasonable pricetag? easy to get to from transit too - we'll be coming from de gaulle and would like to have easy access to transit to see a copule sites.

It's not near the airport but easily accessed by transit, we liked the Place D'Italie neighborhood. It was a clean, safe residential neighborhood and we felt part of the community, not in a touristy area. I searched the web for hours to find a hotel with cheap rates and good reviews. on Veronese. I like the venere.com site, eurocheapo, hotel.com,.... Do your research and you'll find the place that's right for you. I think we spent about 75 euros for the 2 of us. Clean room, clean bathroom, friendly staff. There's a grocery store at the end of the street and there was a little store that was always open when we returned to our room about 10 pm every evening. We bought fruit to eat for breakfast the next morning. We're staying at another Kyriad in Nice in a couple of weeks. Email me directly if you like. I have pictures of the hotel and area too.
