We are planning on seeing Le Barbier de Séville at the Opéra Bastille this May while in Paris. For our vacation we want to pack as light as possible, but were thinking we may need some nicer clothes for the Opera. What is acceptable attire for men and women?

Coat and tie for the men - dress or dress slacks with heels and nice blouse for the women. Paris in general tends to dress well for such occasions.

... you don't have to pack the clothes Jona describes above. Wear those on the flight to Europe. You'll likely get better in flight service (you think?)... Hope you enjoy L/B/d/S... P.

Great idea Perry! While it may not be as comfy as the capri and tshirt, you will look chic!
