We are arriving in Paris on Sunday after an overnight flight. We will be staying in a small apartment in the 7th Arrond. What are some suggestions of things to do on a Sunday afternoon in Paris when suffering from a little jet lag?
Luxembourg Gardens on Sundays is wonderful. It's a great place to sit or walk and observe all the interesting people. You'll see lots of little sailboats on the pond. It's quite beautiful. Unfortunately, it's not real close to your location, but if you're not up for a long (2 mile) walk, you could take the metro.
I think the Rodin Museum is in the 7th and a leisurely tour of the mansion and the art inside could be followed by a relaxing cup of tea or glass of wine in the sculpture/rose garden café. A pleasant way to pass a Sunday afternoon.
You might consider taking one of the Paris Walks. Their website is www.paris-walks.com. I've taken 7 or 8 of their walks and they have always been quite good ... plus you are outside. I find walking around is a good way to fight jet lag.
