My husband and I plan to travel in May/June to Paris, Normandy and would like to include London into our 10 day trip. I am not sure what would be the best itinerary, London>Paris>Normandy and then back to Paris to fly out from or is there a way to get to Normandy from London and we would fly into London> go to Normandy> then to Paris? We do not wish to rent a car so we would use public transportation. Thank you.
The fastest way between London and Normandy is by Eurostar to Paris followed by a train from Paris into Normandy. Book from London to Paris at www.eurostar.com 120 days before travel and then from Paris to Normandy at www.tgv-europe.com for the best fares. If you want the experience of a ferry crossing, however, there are still ferries to Normandy ports to the southwest of London. It's possible to do this overnight. Brittany Ferries operates from Portsmouth to Cherbourg and Caen and Poole to Cherbourg, and LD Lines from Portsmouth to Le Havre.
Thank you for the information!
