Other than the Orsay, any other major renovations going on? Are all the museums open on Bastille Day? Thx, Steve

On the Louvre website July 14 is not listed as one of the French holiday closing days. Probably the same for all but I suggest you check each museum you are interested in.

My family will be there on July 14th as well. The Louvre is free that day - although it will be absolutely swamped. If you want to go, I would try for that morning at the same time as the parade down the Champs Elysees - as hopefully it won't be as packed as that afternoon.
When I checked all the museum websites, it looked as if most of them were open. But I would do what the previous poster suggested and that is to check each museum website to check for hours that day.
