Where is the best place to buy the Paris Museum Pass to avoid lines.I was told that the Paris Archaeological Crypt would be a good place.Does any one know if you can buy it there.thanks Michael
I would suggest Invalides or the Rodin Museum. I too heard that they no longer offer the Pass at the Crypt. I've also read that any Museum w/out large crowds is the best bet, Marmottan? Cluny? Andre Jaquemart?
We bought ours in the underground shopping area between the Louvre Metro stop and the museum itself. We couldn't have waited more than 10 minutes at about noon on a Saturday in July.
Last year we purchased ours at the Pompidou Center--no queue at all. I've read on the Graffiti Wall that the PM Pass is no longer available at the Archaeological Crypt which was my preferred place to buy it.
The Musee Marmottan is a private museum and doesn't accept the Paris Museum Pass.
I purchased mine at The Orangerie museum. No wait at all.
