Is it possible to buy passes for my family at the FNAC booth or other museum without each person being present? Do I need IDs for each person that I am buying for? Thanks

Each person doesn't have to be present, no ID required.

The first time the pass is used, the name and date have to be written in.

Annette,, just to be sure , since you say "my family".. you do realize you do not need to buy one for youths under 18 yrs old.

Thanks for your guidance. I did buy tickets to a few museums - the passes were sold out this morning at FNAC. They told me I did not need tx for studentsunder age 26. When we got to the Louvre we were stopped at one of the galleries and told that 18 and up need a ticket unless they are from the EU. At least we were able to skip the long line at the main entrance! I will go back and get more tickets for my 18 and 20 year old for the Orsay tomorrow.
