Paris Metro advice

hi everyone, we have a wine tasting at O'Chateau next Saturday at 5PM and have Eiffel Tower tickets at 3:30. Is an hour enough time to do the tower then head to the tasting? Which metro would you take from the Eiffel Tower to the Louvre Rivoli stop? is it direct or changes?

I emailed the Eiffel Tower site. Its already night there and they are closed. Hoping they can change it. it was my mistake. i wonder if we could re-book for an earlier time then sell the later ticket to someone there? Hate to get arrested though. I wonder if they check for ID etc.?

Good luck. It would definitely be worth trying to change your tour time because it is a bit of a ways to get there and up there and of course spend time having a look around.

Is it possible to change either booking? It is doable but you will be under a significant time crunch. http://www.ratp.fr/ You would have to change lines on the RER and Metro. However, the bus may be a quicker option. Get to the tower early and hope for the best.

i think i may have to eat the 8.1 euro to make the wine tasting. unless i can sell it to someone waiting in line. you know what they say about the best laid plans...

If you're able to re-work your schedule. take the RER C from Champ de Mars-Tour Eiffel to Invalides, metro line 8 to Concorde, and metro line 1 to Louvre-Rivoli. Or take metro line 6 from Bir-Hakeim to Charles de Gaulle-Etoile and metro line 1 from there to Louvre-Rivoli. Or take bus 72 from Pont de Bir Hakeim to Pont des Arts.

Hi, You must visit Lavinia just few steps from Place de La Madeleine. Is a Disneyland for the people (like me) loves French Wine. 3 Floors crowded with wine with a good restaurant. Enjoy Paris, fantastic city...
