Paris Laundry

Has anyone used the laundry places near Rue Cler that are in Rick's Paris 2008 book? Do they have drop off or is it self service We're trying to pack light and thinking that a trip to the laundry would really help.

I don't have the Paris 2008 Book, but when I stayed in the Rue Cler area two years ago I used a laundramat just a block or two off Rue Cler. I stayed at the Hotel du Cadron on Champs de Mars (next to the corner of Rue Cler) and it was around the corner on a street that parallels Rue Cler. It was a self service laundry.

Stayed at Hotel Muguet last year and used a self service laundry on Rue Chevert a few times.

It was almost at the corner of Rue de Tourville, with an ATM a door or two away.

No problem at all

HI Tom,

We stayed at the Grand Hotel Leveque on Rue Cler and there was a self service laundry around the corner. Very clean and plenty of machines.

Go ahead and pack light (enjoy your trip)!

Hi Tom! We stayed at Hotel Beaugency and the hotel recommended a place on Rue Cler to drop off laundry. I can't remember the name, but it was on Rue Cler between Rue Champ du Mars and La Motte-Piquette. Very convenient, though cost a bit more. We dropped it off one morning and picked it up the next. We still have the bag our laundry was returned in! Makes a great reusable bag for shopping!
