Paris in March

I am going to Paris for two nights in March. I will really only have one day so want something that is convenient, even if by metro. I also am on a budget so would like something less than 100 euro. Thanks for anyone's help!

Personally I would try www.yeego.com or www.alpharooms.com - they both have very good discounted prices for hotels all over Europe. I've used both with no problems...actually I've got current reservations in Paris in March which I booked via AlphaRooms. Traveling on to Geneva and Barcelona I've reserved my rooms with Yeego. Very good prices compared to reserving directly with the particular hotels I chose.

A second vote for Hotel de L'Avre! We've stayed there and like it very much.

Kim - You can try the Hotel de l'Avre. It's near a Metro station and a couple of blocks from the Eiffel Tower.

I always stay at lHotel Hameau, 48 rue de Passy. They offer a 30% discount if you book on their website, and for a single room, I believe that would be nicely under 100 Euros. I can't say enough nice stuff about this hotel. It's conveniently located but in a non-touristy neighborhood, the rooms are spotlessly clean, it's in an adorable location off the main drag, and the staff is just terrifically nice. http://www.paris-hotel-hameaudepassy.com/ Oh - and I checked, and per their site, singles start at 53 Euros! Wow! As for the location, theere are two Metro stops each about equidistant from the hotel (nice and close) but you won't need the Metro. It is a 10 minute walk from the hotel (a pleasant walk, involving a park and a view of Trocadero) from the hotel to the Eiffel Tower. I think I have posted some pix that are illustrative on Flickr. Check out the photostream for russellandkiracheek. I believe there is a picture of my husband in the hotel room, and maybe a snap or two of us in a park in front of the Eiffel Tower - that park is just down the hill from the hotel.
