I'm currently in Paris on business for my 8th or 9th trip. (I had a very talkative Parisian taxi driver from Gare du Nord to my hotel-a rare thing!) Every visit to Paris I pick a new hotel...and this time I found a new gem. If you want to stay in the rather expensive Saint-Germain des Pres in the 6th, look at the Grand Hotel de l'Univers on tiny rue Gregoire de Tours. The rooms are small...but it's Paris. Very friendly service, amazing location, clean, tons of charm, free wifi, can't go wrong!
