Paris hotel, near the eiffel tower or ile st. louis

I have found 2 hotels that have availability the night I need, so now I need opinions please :)

the first is hotel kensington near the eiffel tower 79 Euro

the second is the hotel du 7th art, located near ile st. louis. 95 Euro

In my opinion the kensington would be nice because it is so central, but the 7th art would be nice because it is closer to the side of town we need to be on to catch our night to venice from paris bercy. I was thinking that becasue we could leave our luggage their and just pick it up on the way to our train station.

But I know little to nothing, because I have never been so I really appreciate your votes on where I should stay and what the pros and cons would be of each.

thank you again

Opinions vary of course, but for my money the 7th Art is MUCH more centrally located - in the heart of the Marais with its medieval streets. It's a great quartier with lots to see, do and eat.

I'm with Dale. The Hotel du 7e Art is more centrally located than the Hotel Kensington and the Marais is a great district to visit.

Gare de Bercy does not have left luggage facilities, but Gare de Lyon which is one metro stop or a short walk away does.
