My wife and I along with our 2 teenage girls are looking for an inexpensive, clean room for the 4 of us in Paris for 3 nights. We're hoping to find something close to the Eiffel Tower /Rue Cler for less than 120E per night. Any recommendations?

Hotel Royal Phare is exactly what you want. Close to Eiffel Tower and steps from Rue Cler. There is a metro and 2 atms at the front door as well as a supermarket and lots of boulangeries and patisseries. It's clean, cheap and friendly, too.

I don't know if it is out of your price range, but Hotel Relais Bosquet rents aparments near the Rue Cler area. last year I stayed in one that had a double bed in the bedroom and two murphy beds in the living room. It had a fully equipped kitchen and a washer and dryer in the bathroom. It also had a terrace with a table and chairs. I loved it.
If you go that route, maybe you can save some money by eating some meals, like breakfast, in.

try the vacation rentals by owner website...I have had
great luck and you get to live among the locals with a kitchen, washer dryer and conveniences of home.

I recommend you spread out a bit, there are many other areas beside Rue Cler to stay in, many more central, and by opening up to other areas you will have alot more choices. Finding rooms for 4 is not the easiest.
Try Hotel Eugenie its very central.
Also look at Hotel Du College de France, great location.
