Hello! My husband and I are looking for a Paris hotel for 4 days in early October. We're getting an apartment for the back half of our trip, as we're doing an overnight in Mont St Michel in the middle of our week, so we decided to splurge a bit (at least for our budget) on the front end. Wanted to stay in 5th or 6th - we're between the Hotel Europe St Severin and Hotel Parc Severin. Anyone with personal experience at either of these hotels? Thanks in advance :)
I've stayed at the Parc St. Severin and loved it! We were there last year for our anniversary and it's a charming little hotel. The view of the Latin Quarter from our window was stunning. And you're right that you'll be there in the heart of everything. You can see some good photos and compare with the Europe St. Severin here: http://www.easyvoyage.co.uk/experts/parc-st-severin-250765. I've not stayed at the Europe, but trust me, you won't regret the Parc. The breakfast was very filling and the beds were so comfortable. I would definitely go back.
TripAdvisor has good reviews for both. Parc Severin is about 50 euros more per night but looks a little fancier? Both appear to have a great location just across from Ile de la Cite.
check www.yeego.com before you book. Many times I've found lower prices at yeego than booking directly with the hotel. Many times yeego includes breakfast as well whereas the hotel sometimes charges 8-15 Euro per person per breakfast. It can be a substantial savings. Case in (my) point: Hotel Agora St Germain.
